I suppose to talk about The Checklist, an origin story is necessary. So the Checklist itself came from the list of films and shows you have in the notes section of your phones, or on a sticky note or on a bit of paper stuck to your fridge or the half washed off scrawl on the back of your hand to remember to watch them. Sometimes it's just a mental list of stuff to watch because, let's be honest, it's not just films and shows to watch anymore, there are youtube videos to watch, articles to read, pictures to see.
